Nicholas Tate “Nick” Smith, 40, of Delphi, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born March 15, 1985, in Monticello to Larry and Audrey Tinkle. He married Chad Smith on May 2, 2011, and he survives.

Nick worked as a trade embalmer over the years, sharing his artistic talent and care for loved ones, helping them have a pleasant lasting memory as families would say their final farewells. He worked for several funeral homes, including Miller-Roska Funeral Home, Day & Genda Funeral Home, and Gundrum Funeral Home. He was a member of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association.
