Mark was born on September 18, 1962 in Columbus, IN, the son of Lewis Shrader and Sandra (Matheny) Shrader.

He worked as a Funeral Director at D.O McComb & Sons Funeral Home in Ft. Wayne, Bailey-Love Mortuary in Huntington, and he helped start Fairhaven Funeral Home in Ft. Wayne.
