William “Bill” Lightner, age 64, a resident of Muncie, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Muncie. Bill was born April 23, 1959, in Hartford City, Indiana, the son of William R. and Joyce Ann (Burnette) Lightner-Wells.
Bill formally owned and operated Thornburg-Lightner Funeral Home in Parker City, Lightner Funeral Home in Lynn, Lightner Funeral Home in Dunkirk and Lightner Funeral Home in Union City.
